Elle grandit dans une famille de musiciens et commence \u00e0 jouer du violon \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 3 ans. Plus tard, elle \u00e9change le violon contre la clarinette sur laquelle elle obtient son dipl\u00f4me en 1997 avec son p\u00e8re Jos Monsieurs \u00e0 l\u2019Academie Muziek, Woord en Dans (AMWD) de Geel.<\/p>\n<p>Elle poursuit ses \u00e9tudes \u00e0 la Hogeschool Antwerpen o\u00f9 elle obtient son dipl\u00f4me p\u00e9dagogique et un master en clarinette en 2002 dans la classe de Walter Boeykens, Ivo Lybeert et Raymond Dils. \u00a0En 2006, elle y ajoute un master en saxophone.<\/p>\n<p>En 2001, elle reussit l\u2019examen d\u2019entr\u00e9e \u00e0 la Chapelle Royale de Musique de la Marine Belge.
